What chemicals can HDPE wide mouth bottles safely store?
HDPE is compatible with most acids, bases, alcohols, and many organic solvents. Avoid strong oxidizing acids (concentrated nitric/sulfuric), aromatic hydrocarbons, and halogenated solvents. Always verify chemical compatibility before long-term storage.

HDPE can withstand autoclaving at 110°C maximum. However, for applications requiring repeated sterilization at 121°C, we recommend PP wide mouth bottles which tolerate higher temperatures without deformation.

The operating temperature range is -80°C to 110°C. The bottle can be used for deep cryogenic storage at -80°C and warm applications up to 110°C. The brittle point is below -80°C.
